In response to growing customer demand and increasing regulations, Specialty has developed this innovative and unique label product – this label is a first of it’s kind in the marketplace.
Several U.S. states, including California, Minnesota, and Washington, have introduced or are set to introduce bans or restrictions on the use of BPA and BPS in thermal paper. California’s Proposition 65 mandates warning labels for products containing BPS, while Washington has already banned the sale, manufacture, and distribution of thermal paper containing BPS. Minnesota has implemented new laws aimed at reducing BPA and BPS exposure in thermal paper.
